Under My Chin

Book Shelves are Missing Simple Repetitive Stories

So I did a thing back in 2017. This is the children’s book I self-published when I realized that I was always adapting books in speech-language therapy that were already on the shelves.

I needed books to suit children who had a better understanding for photographs on a bigger page set with simple repetitive language.

I needed big action photos to help make sense for someone not quite interested in looking at books, or because books are not quite available for children with a vision impairment.

True Story

This cute story was inspired by the time I caught my kids taking a break from playing around and found them measuring themselves against each other. The youngest was just under the oldest’s chin. I instantly envisioned that it was going to be like this for life.

This is a great book to expose your child to actions in a story and for early readers. What are some types of books that you’re looking for? Post it in the comments!
